In recent times, a new harmful malware known as Ransomware has emerged, which fundamentally locks access to the files on your computers, demanding a payment in exchange for access to said files. The UK IT Support Group, TSG terms it ‘The Year of Ransomwares’ and rightly so. 2016 saw a massive 3,500% increase in Ransomware attacks, and 54% businesses in the UK have been a victim. Ransomware is transmitted through several channels, the main one being emails.
