President Donald Trump has once again attacked media. On Monday, while talking to troops of approximately 300 U.S soldiers at MacDill Air Force Base in Florida. He accused media for being biased and partial about terror attacks throughout the Europe.
President Trump told that, “All over Europe it’s happening. It’s gotten to a point where it’s not even being reported and, in many cases, the very, very dishonest press doesn’t want to report it. They have their reasons, and you understand that.” Although, he didn’t specify which attacks were going uncovered in media neither he named any media organization which were ignoring them nor he offered any reference to support his claims. While addressing he further quoted number of killed people in France and terror attacks in Paris and Nice which received wide coverage of media. About 230 people have been killed in different terrorism activities in France.
Later his address, White House has issued list of 78 terror attacks since September 2014 to December 2016 throughout the world. According to Reuters, statement issued from White House says “Networks are not devoting to each of them the same level of coverage they once did. This cannot be allowed to become the ‘new normal.’
